DPT Series
The DPT series is the ‘alter ego’ of the PAT series, but is suitable for all applications where 2 welding spots are required.
The DPT series can be used in 2 different ways:
- Direct welding: current circulation between the upper and lower electrodes
- Indirect welding: circulation between the two upper electrodes, through the components to be welded
DPT heads are available in 2 sizes: DPT2 and DPT4
All the bench top double-spot welders can be fitted with an analogue sensor to detect the crushing of the welding spot and a load cell to determine the welding force or, in feedback with the proportional valve, to work at constant force.
DPT 2
The DPT2 size is the classic one used for coil welding. Thanks to the infinite customisation possibilities, electrode spacing from 6mm up to 60mm can be obtained.
